At the entrance of this jewel are beautiful, tall wooden doors; you feel as though you are entering a gorgeous Mexican Villa. The tasteful design detail that was given to each and every room is incredible. The furnishings and décor were imported from places all over the world. This place has it all, open living, kitchen and dining areas. There are four luscious bedrooms, each of which has their own distinctive theme. If luxury is what you desire for your vacation accommodations then this is the place that you will keep coming back to year after year. No expense has been spared in this meticulously designed showplace.
Enjoy a wonderful dinner admiring the sweeping views through the expansive sliding wooden doors that can be opened to allow the fresh air to circulate through-out the room. On those chilly nights dine indoors in the roomy dining table which sits ten comfortably. The kitchen is a chef’s delight, very open, large and unique floor plan that allows room for many assistant chefs. The lovely breakfast table is open to the kitchen as well, providing seating for eighteen including the four stools at the bar and the dining table for ten.
This home features beautiful Talavera tile that flows through the entire house. The den offers a 60 inch flat screen television for that great movie you have been waiting to watch with your friends and family. The adjacent sitting room is the place to snuggle up next to the fire and enjoy a great novel. The windows in the circular room provide another place to view the incredible Hill Country and the wild life that goes with it.
There are two separate master suites with king size beds, each with their own private bathrooms. Then up to the third bedroom, the Sky room, where you will find a queen size bed. For the girl’s getaway weekend or for the kids, the fourth bedroom provides two custom Cedar Post bunk beds that uniquely have queen size beds for the lower bunks and full size beds for the upper bunks. Wow, you can feasibly house six adults or eight children in this one room arrangement.
If you are more the “nature lover” take a hike through the three thousand plus lavender plants and the eighty six olive trees (which are quite rare in Texas) or take a rest on one of the many benches installed throughout this area and watch the magnificent Peacocks as they span their feathers and talk to each other. The Peacocks roam freely on this property.
After your fifty acre hike the cool water of your sparkling, private pool will feel so good when you jump in. If you aren’t a swimmer just relax in the comfortable lounge chairs and enjoy the spectacular view. There is more, you thought that was it, not yet – Rancho Mirando also has a well-outfitted kitchen outdoors including a large iron smoker, propane grill, sink, refrigerator and seating. This completely covered and extensive pavilion area allows you to prepare a Texas style barbecue meal, enjoy your friends or family while doing it and still be able to view the breathtaking countryside and all it has to offer.
We invite you to stay with us and experience the majesty and epic beauty that both the home and the stunning vistas of the Hill Country have to offer.
