Trail of Lights in Wimberley

Each year, the EmilyAnn Theater decorates the gardens and paths with holiday themed lights. Each night, different hosts, vendors and special guests greet visitors to tour the gardens. Santa will ride in November 30th on a fire truck and be available for everyone to say hello. In addition to the magical lights to light the pathways, the event is free to everyone. A donation is appreciated at the entry point to help keep the event running for many years to come.

As you wander through the grounds, be sure to stop by and see what the local merchants and artists have to offer. Everyone puts their top wares out during the holidays in Wimberley. Food, drinks and fun will definitely find their way to you at this special party in this ‘Little Bit of Heaven’!


Boerne Festivities

Weilhnacts Parade is a fantastic Hill Country holiday themed parade.Just outside of Spring Branch, TX, your family will love the Weihnachts Parade in Boerne. On December 7th at 6pm, you can watch the parade down Main Street. During the parade, you’ll see more than 100 entries light up the festivities. To set the tone for the parade, this year’s theme is ‘Christmas Songs’!

Your family will have a fantastic time watching and listening to all the holiday classics. Celebrating the 33rd year, you will definitely get into the holiday spirit participating in this parade!

Explore Boerne, TX on a Hill Country Food Tour!During the day, why not take a Hill Country Food Tour! Designed for visitors 12 and older, you’ll find some of the best Hill Country food on these tours. First, the 2.5 hour tour runs around $65. Next, you’ll learn about the history of Boerne, TX and how cuisine has shaped the area. Finally, you’ll sample many different types of foods and even some craft brews! Although this is a busy time for Santa while he’s at the North Pole, there are many displays that feature his likeness. The jolly fellow may not be there when you visit, but that doesn’t mean the kids should forgot who knows when they have been naughty or nice!
