Sacred Passages

We hope that your visit to Sacred Passages will be a treasured experience, to be shared with friends and family and repeated as often as possible. Sacred Passages offers the comforts of home, while immersing our guests in the beautifully artful and natural perspectives of the Texas Hill Country region. This amazing place is on thirty five acres and has something for every single guest of all ages from youngsters to adults; it is much like a magical wonderland! From the Koi Pond filled with Gold Fish to the Rabbit Hutch to the Iguana Hut, there is something for all to do at Sacred Passages!

Situated on 35 acres, the house can easily accommodate guests comfortably. As you approach this place you are invited by swing chairs on the front porch and then into the front door you stand in the large living area with a massive rock fireplace with comfy leather sofas, you then walk into the kitchen to find an open and warm atmosphere with beautiful granite, tile and wood throughout. The wonderful solid wood dining table that seats 8 – 10 guests is next to another wood burning fireplace.

The master bedroom has a king size bed made of beautiful cedar posts with a wood burning stove pipe fireplace. The second bedroom has a queen bed and is located downstairs. Upstairs the third bedroom offers a full size bed. An open upstairs loft with a trundle bed offers additional sleeping quarters. This house is quite interesting because it is owned by a talented artist that loves stone and Mosaic tile work, the main bathroom has beautiful rock and stone in multi colors with interesting, artistic Mosaic tile bits worked into the pattern.

The outdoors is almost too amazing to describe! There is a large rock deck and adjacent to that is a Koi Pond with beautiful, large Gold Fish swimming around. A man made rock cave is adjacent to the Koi Pond.

There is a rock table with high chairs near the pond as well. Stroll away from the pond area to a tropical paradise that has a beautiful swimming pool with slide. For those that want to shower off after a dip in the pool there is a terrific outdoor shower built in stone. This area is perfect for lounging and visiting, it has lots of seating areas and cool shady areas as well as an outdoor kitchen with sink and small fridge and a bar with more seating.

When you walk away from the pool area there is a grassy area with a large tree table … a table built around a large tree that can seat 20 guests … near there is a huge rock and iron barbecue pit.

If there are any budding Thespians in your family then they can perform on a real outdoor stage. After the performance the kids can play in an Iguana Hut (no Iguana in here) or go over to the rabbit hutch area that has 20 hutches (no rabbits in them). This property also has an incredible fire pit with stone seating around it, perfect for those evening sing along and roasting marshmallows.
