Take a step back in time at the Blanco Haus. Located in the heart of the Blanco Historic Courthouse Square, this 1900’s cottage is an ideal location for a vacation destination or your next special event.
This unique home was built prior to 1920 and the three original rooms feature beadboard ceilings and long leaf wood walls. Antique details abound in this charming cottage. The living area is cozy and boasts a beautifully restored stone-faced wood-burning fireplace. The separate dining area, furnished with an authentic German beer garden table provides access to the home’s full bathroom and the back deck.
The large kitchen provides ample space for prepping for your special event or a simple meal on the go. From here, you have access to both bedrooms and additional access to the great outdoors.
From the back deck, your view is of the lovely Bindseil Park and the largest oak tree in several counties. Behind the Bindseil Park, access the Blanco River State Park by short path. Blanco State River Park can be accessed by secondary entry down short path behind house OR from main park entry 3/4 mile away across Hwy 281. (State Park Fees may apply).
