The Westcave Preserve is a limestone-walled canyon containing several unusual and endangered plants, which can be seen on guided tours.

Johnson City

Johnson City is home to the Exotic Resort Zoo, which houses over 500 wild animals and 80 species. The Zoo is spread out over 137 wooded acres. You’ll also find Pedernales Falls State Park which is located within Johnson City. Activities at the park include hiking, tubing, mountain biking, bird watching, fishing, horseback riding, and river swimming.

New Braunfels

Landa Park is must see attraction when visiting New Braunfels. Giant Ancient Oak Trees line the park, shading the area. Trails provide opportunities to enjoy all the beautiful flowers. For those who do not want to walk, climb aboard a miniature train that takes you around the 51-acre park.

San Marcos
